Our new exhibit is a selection of my personal favourites from the gallery’s collection. We include painting, artist books, prints, photography and ceramics, works from both contemporary and historical artists and works from both emerging and established artists. Some of the artists are well known – such as Colbert Mashile, Sam Nhlengethwa, Walter Battiss and Roger Ballen – and others you’ve probably never heard of but might want to learn more about. But all are my personal favourites from the gallery’s collection.
